Hermenia Gardner served as an Affirmative Action Officer/College Ombudsman at Amherst College, Amherst, MA, from 1993 until her retirement.  Prior to that, she served as the Director of Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity, Grievance Counselor, for Clark University in Worcester, MA.  She has held numerous  positions in Education over the years and has served and continues to serve on various Boards. Hermenia received her Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, New York, NY; Master in Religious Education from Boston University, Boston, MA; and Bachelor of Science from West Chester University, West Chester, PA.
